Impacts of food wastage on economic growth

This paper attempts to identify the impact of food wastage on economic growth using data for 165 countries over 2014–2018 period. With help ordinary least squares (OLS) and generalized linear model (GLM), study shows that poverty GDP negatively. Poverty are positively related. Reducing can lead reduction, stimulating growth. Measures required reduce wastage, especially in middle-income with a high undernourishment rate. Food reflects poor regulatory capacity, strengthening institutional quality also food.
